About Us

City Wine Market was founded in 2010 over a shared love of tasty beverages.

Jamie Woodall-Routlege started his wine journey selling wine while working in fine dining restaurants in the late 90's. Before opening City Wine Market in 2010, Jamie spent nearly 8 years working in numerous capacities for James Beard Chef and serial restaurateur, Michael Smith. After studying under Karen MacNeil (The Wine Bible, WineSpeed), Jamie went on to complete his Certified Wine Professional exam at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Napa Valley, CA in 2006.

Steve Wilson started his wine career in fine dining and has worked for liquor retailers--boutique to big-box--for more than two decades. Steve earned his Certified Wine Professional (CWP) certification from the CIA in Napa Valley in 2006 and received his master's degree in Wine & Beverage Management from the CIA in Hyde Park, NY in 2023.
